The Detail

The most affordable rear support wheelchair we carry. A moulded frame rather than an aluminum one, which keeps the price down and the weight low, and does the same core job of taking the load off weak back legs.
Who it suits
Small and medium dogs with rear leg weakness, and owners who need something now rather than something perfect. It is a sensible first wheelchair when you are not yet sure whether your dog will take to one, and a reasonable indoor frame if you already own something sturdier for outside.
What it is not
This is not the frame for a large dog, for rough ground, or for a dog who will be in a wheelchair all day every day. If that is your situation, our aluminum frames are built for it and will last longer. We would rather tell you that now.

Getting the size right
Measure your dog rather than going by breed. Our measuring guide shows how, and we will check your numbers with you if you are between sizes.
If your dog's movement has changed suddenly, speak to your vet or a canine rehabilitation professional before buying any equipment. We can help you choose a product but we cannot assess your dog.

Measure chest girth and the distance between the front and rear legs. The frame itself adjusts from 6.4 to 8.7 in wide, 9.6 to 13.8 in long and 6.7 to 11.8 in high.
Between two sizes? Do not round on your own. Send us the numbers and we will tell you which way to go, because it depends on the product and on whether your dog is likely to gain or lose muscle. Five minutes on email beats a fortnight waiting on an exchange.
