A cart is for a dog who can no longer carry their own weight on one or more pairs of legs. If your dog is walking but unsteady, traction and a lift harness usually help more. If they are dragging, collapsing or cannot stand, a cart is the right conversation. Speak to your vet if the change was sudden.
Yes, though most owners use a cart outdoors and for longer sessions and a harness indoors. If your home is tight on space, ask us about the narrower frames.
Most dogs move confidently within a few days. Start with five to ten minute sessions on grass, keep it positive and build up. If your dog is still resisting after a week the fit is usually the reason, so send us a photo.
Most dogs can, and the frames are designed around it. Some owners still prefer to remove the cart. This is covered in the fitting notes on each product page.
