The Detail
Everything in the box.
A smaller, lighter rear support wheelchair built for little dogs. Same idea as a full size frame, scaled down so a small body is not fighting the weight of the cart it is meant to be helped by.
Who it suits
Small dogs with rear leg weakness who can still hold themselves up at the front. If your dog is medium or large, or is likely to grow into a bigger frame, start with one of our adjustable full size wheelchairs instead.
How it helps
- Light aluminum frame, so a small dog can move it without effort
- Adjustable fit as your dog settles into the frame
- All terrain tires for grass, gravel and pavement
- Sized for small dogs rather than shrunk from a large design
Getting the size right
Measure your dog before ordering rather than going by breed. Our measuring guide walks through each measurement, and if you are unsure we will check your numbers with you before you buy.
Good to know
Some assembly is required. Give your dog a few short sessions to get used to the frame before you head out on a proper walk.
If your dog's movement has changed suddenly, or you are not sure a wheelchair is the right step, speak to your vet or a canine rehabilitation professional first. We can help you pick a product but we cannot assess your dog.
Between two sizes? Do not round on your own. Send us the numbers and we will tell you which way to go, because it depends on the product and on whether your dog is likely to gain or lose muscle. Five minutes on email beats a fortnight waiting on an exchange.
Not sure it is the right one?
Send us your dog's measurements and a short description of how they are moving. We will tell you honestly what we would order, including when the answer is nothing yet.
