The Detail

Everything in the box.

A rear lift sling with quick release buckles, so it comes on and off in seconds rather than being threaded round a dog who would rather you did not. If you are helping your dog up several times a day, the seconds add up.

Who it suits

Older dogs with rear leg weakness, dogs recovering from injury, and any dog who needs help repeatedly through the day. Also dogs who dislike being fussed with, where a slower harness turns into a battle.

How it helps

  • Quick release buckles for fast fitting and removal
  • Supports the hind legs while you take the weight
  • Adjustable to fit as your dog changes
  • Four sizes at one price

Getting the size right

Measure rather than guessing. Our measuring guide shows exactly where, and we will check your numbers if you are between two sizes.

Good to know

Keep the lift gentle and let your dog take as much of their own weight as they can manage. The aim is assistance rather than carrying, and dogs who are carried unnecessarily lose the muscle they still have.

If your dog's back legs have weakened suddenly, see your vet. Sudden change is worth investigating rather than working around.

Sizing

Measure first, order second.

Measure on a hard floor with your dog standing and bearing weight. A dog measured sitting or held up measures short, and that single mistake causes more exchanges than everything else combined.

How to measure your dog
SizeChestHandle length
S54 cm35 cm
M60 cm35 cm
L70 cm35 cm
XL80 cm35 cm

The handle is the same length in every size. Chest girth is the measurement that decides the size.

Between two sizes? Do not round on your own. Send us the numbers and we will tell you which way to go, because it depends on the product and on whether your dog is likely to gain or lose muscle. Five minutes on email beats a fortnight waiting on an exchange.
