The Detail
Everything in the box.
A pair of low angle stair assist ramps with a carpeted, non slip surface. These sit over existing steps at home to turn a sharp rise into a gentle slope, which is often the difference between a small dog managing the back door alone and needing carrying every time.
Who it suits
Small dogs and cats with short legs, stiff joints or reduced rear drive. Two in the box, so you can cover two problem steps, or the same step from both directions.
How it helps
- Supports up to 154 lb
- Low angle, so the climb is gentle rather than a step up
- Non slip carpeted surface, which most dogs trust more than plastic
- Two included
- Works indoors on stairs, thresholds and door steps
Where these work best
These are for shallow indoor steps, not for getting into a car. If a vehicle is your problem, look at our car ramps and steps instead. Around the house, on the one step your dog has started hesitating at, this is the cheapest fix in our range.
Good to know
Check they sit flat and do not rock before letting your dog use them. On polished floors it is worth checking the base grips, because a ramp that slides teaches a dog to distrust all of them.
| Measurement | Size |
|---|---|
| Ramp width | 11.8 in |
| Ramp depth | 10.2 in |
| Ramp height | 4 in |
| Top edge thickness | 2.1 in |
| Weight capacity | 154 lb |
One size, supplied as a pair. Your step needs to be at least 10.2 in deep for the ramp to sit flat against it.
Between two sizes? Do not round on your own. Send us the numbers and we will tell you which way to go, because it depends on the product and on whether your dog is likely to gain or lose muscle. Five minutes on email beats a fortnight waiting on an exchange.
Not sure it is the right one?
Send us your dog's measurements and a short description of how they are moving. We will tell you honestly what we would order, including when the answer is nothing yet.
