Wide folding steps in lightweight aluminum, for dogs who manage stairs better than slopes. Some dogs never take to a ramp but will climb steps without hesitating, because steps are a familiar shape and a ramp is not.
Who it suits
Dogs getting into cars, SUVs and trucks who prefer a stepped climb. Also older dogs with reduced rear drive, who often find it easier to push up one step at a time than to hold a steady climb up an incline.

Steps or a ramp
Watch what your dog already does at home. A dog who trots up stairs but hesitates on a slope wants steps. A dog with weak back legs who cannot lift them clear of a step wants a ramp. If you are not sure, tell us what your dog does on your own stairs and we will help you decide.
Choosing the size
The size you need depends on the height of your vehicle's load lip, not on your dog. Measure from the ground to the boot floor before ordering. Small suits lower cars, medium suits most SUVs, and large has a taller 8.1 inch step rise for pickups and high sided vans. Send us the figure and we will confirm which one to order.
Getting your dog to use it
Set them up on level ground first and reward your dog for standing on the bottom step before you ask for the whole climb. Check the steps are stable and the strap is secured to the vehicle every time, and stay alongside your dog for the first few trips.

Choose on the height from the ground to your boot floor, not on your dog. Each size opens either as normal steps or at a longer, lower angle.
