The Detail

A hind leg brace that anchors to a strap around the hip rather than relying on the leg alone. That anchor is the difference between a brace that stays where you put it and one that has slid down the leg by the end of the walk.
Who it suits
Dogs with cruciate weakness, arthritis or a persistent limp on a back leg, particularly dogs with a tapered leg shape where sleeve style braces work loose. Also useful in recovery periods where the brace needs to stay put for hours at a time.
What it does not do
It is a soft cloth support. It stabilises and reminds, it does not immobilise. A limping dog needs a vet to say why they are limping. Once you know that, this can help you manage the day to day.
